Hoya polyneura 'Fishtail Hoya'

  • Product Info

Meet Hoya polyneura, better known as the Fishtail Hoya. Its long, narrow leaves are covered in striking dark green veins, creating a pattern that looks just like a fish skeleton-or a tiny fishtail.

Compact, unusual, and full of texture, this Hoya looks amazing trailing from a hanging pot or growing over the edge of a shelf. And if you're lucky, it can produce clusters of delicate, waxy flowers too.

A little quirky, seriously pretty, and definitely not your average Hoya-Hoya polyneura is an easy way to add something different to your collection.

  • Care guide:

    Light:
Prefers bright, indirect light. A little gentle morning sun is fine, but avoid strong direct afternoon sunlight.

    Water:
Allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly between waterings. Hoya polyneura doesn't like sitting in wet soil, but also prefers not to dry out completely for long periods.

    Soil:
Use a chunky, airy, well-draining mix with ingredients such as houseplant compost, orchid bark and perlite.

  • Nursery Pot Size:
