Product

Do the plants include the outer pots pictured?

All plants are supplied in their nursery pots only unless the listing states otherwise, photos in outer pots are included only as styling suggestions. You can purchase a pot from our wide range in store or our posting friendly selection online. 

Payment & Refunds

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following debit and credit cards: MasterCard, Visa and American Express. We also offer payment by Paypal, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Klarna. 

What is your refund policy?

My order has arrived, but it's not as expected. What can I do?

In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or faulty, please take photos of the product in question and email us via info@theplantpoint.co.uk with the details. We’ll respond as soon as possible and put things right.

Ordering & Delivery

Do you offer Local Delivery?

Our local delivery service is temporarily paused until August. In the meantime you can still order for courier delivery or store pickup - sorry for any inconvenience caused. 

Where is my order confirmation?

This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder prior to contacting in case the order confirmation has been diverted there. 

How do I cancel my order?

To cancel your order get in touch as soon as possible. We try to dispatch orders quickly so get in touch as soon as you can if you change your mind. If you get in touch after your order is shipped via courier you can then return it to us, if you wish, in line with our refund policy

Can I alter my order?

Get in touch with your requested changes and we'll do our best to help. 

When will my order arrive?

Local delivery orders will be delivered on the day you request.

We endeavour to have Click & Collect orders ready as soon as possible but this may take up to 72h depending on stock availability, we'll let you know when your item is ready for collection.

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs depend on the item you’ve ordered and the delivery method. Please refer to our Shipping Policy to check out our shipping and delivery fees.

If your order value is more than £75 we offer free courier shipping. Free local delivery is available for orders over £25 within 10 miles of any of our stores and click & collect is available for free on any order.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Just click "view order" on your order confirmation to see the most up to date information available for your order.

To track courier orders, please see the tracking info provided in the shipping confirmation email you will receive. 

Who do you ship with?

Depending on which will reach you soonest, we use DPD or Royal Mail for our courier delivery orders and only ship next day delivery from the point of dispatch. 

Gift Vouchers

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes, we do. They can be purchased here, these are issued electronically by email and each contains a unique reference number, we can also send physical store vouchers.

We offer two types of gift vouchers, one for use in 'The Plant Point' stores and one for use on the website ThePlantPoint.co.uk, just let us know in the message box at checkout which you would prefer. 

Can I use my store gift voucher online?

Yes. Whether it was purchased through our website or in-store, just get in touch and we will issue you a code to use at checkout.

Can I use my online gift voucher in-store?

Yes. Whether it was purchased through our website or in-store, just get in touch and we will issue you with an e-gift voucher to use in-store.

Click & Collect

What is the Click & Collect order processing time?

We attempt to prepare your order for collection as soon as possible but this may take up to 72h. We will contact you when your order is ready for collection. 

Can I order and collect today?

Our web store operates a separate stock to our stores so it's unlikely that you will be able to collect your order on the same day you place it; However, we will endeavour to have your order ready for collection as soon as possible.

We always maintain a broad range of options in-store so if you need something last minute, pop in and ask a colleague for help.

What are your opening hours?

Our store opening hours can be found here.

For up to date information on holiday opening times, please see the respective google listing for each store. 

How do I get to your stores?

All of our stores can be accessed by public transport and a short walk or by car with nearby parking. 

For directions to each just click the 'directions' button beside the store of your choice on our locations page.

How do I get in touch with a particular store?

We don't operate contact numbers for our stores but if you need to get in touch, contact us via info@theplantpoint.co.uk and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Terrariums

Do you ship terrariums?

At this time we don't send our terrariums by courier delivery as they aren't guaranteed to arrive intact. 

We do offer local delivery and Click & Collect on our terrariums. 

How do I care for my terrarium?

Your closed terrarium should be kept in a bright spot out of direct sunlight. Keep the lid on unless the internal condensation covers the glass entirely, in which case remove the lid for a couple of hours a day until it settles down.

If there is no sign of any condensation, add a small amount of water if the plants look at all thirsty. 

Open terrariums should be watered sparingly. In line with the recommendations given at purchase.

Can you make a custom terrarium with glassware I own?

We'd be delighted to if the glassware is fit for purpose, get in touch and we can discuss your requirements. 

Workshops

Do you offer terrarium workshops as private events?

We do! We can host a private workshop in our Corn Exchange store or at your home/ place of business. Just get in touch to discuss your requirements and we'll make it happen.

How long do the workshops last?

Our workshops typically last for between one and two hours, plenty of time to make a great terrarium and some new friends.

Can I choose the plants?

No, we will provide suitable plants for the terrarium being built as not all plants will work. We can try to accommodate suitable requests for private workshops. 

What's included?

Different workshops include different additional take-home items so check the listing information closely to see what's included. 

What's your cancellation policy?

If you can't make your booking and need to reschedule or cancel then just get in touch, we do however require 72h notice prior to the workshop.

What's your policy on low uptake?

Our Workshops usually sell out, and fast. In the very rare occurance where less than half of tickets were to sell we may not go ahead with it. In this instance we would offer you the chance to reschedule or recieve a full refund.

I’d like a lot of plants for my business or home, can you advise me?

Of course! We offer Plant Consultation & Delivery for homes and businesses. We'll visit your home or place of work to discuss your requirements and view the space then provide you with appropriate options as well as accompanying pots if desired, working to your timeframe. Can you water our plants for us?

Yes, we offer business clients a recurring watering and plant check service within our catchment area. Get in touch to find out more. 

My plants have outgrown their pots, can you repot them for me?

Yes, we offer a repotting service in-store starting at just £5 per plant. Speak to a colleague in-store or get in touch for more details.

Do you offer rental for weddings, events and photoshoots?

We do, we have a variety of options for rental to suit the scale and number of plants you need as well as the duration you need them for. Get in touch with details about the occasion and we can help make it happen!
