Watering:

Anthurium does not like to be overwatered; it is a plant that can tolerate some neglect. Allow the soil to dry out well between waterings. During the growing season, water regularly to promote healthy plant growth. In the colder months, reduce watering to a minimum.

Soil:

Use a well-draining aroid potting mix with perlite or orchid bark. That will improve drainage and mimic the plant’s natural habitat, helping prevent root rot.

Fertilizing:

Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer during the spring and summer growing season to encourage lush foliage and support blooms. Hold off on fertilizing during fall and winter, as the plant’s growth naturally slows.

Repotting:
