Light
Bright, indirect light is ideal for this plant. It thrives in locations where it receives several hours of filtered sunlight. Avoid placing it in direct afternoon sun, as it can scorch its delicate leaves. Morning sun or a spot near a bright window is perfect.
Watering
Like most houseplants, it’s important to avoid overwatering. Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry to the touch. During the growing season (spring and summer), water more frequently, but reduce watering during fall and winter when the plant is not actively growing. Make sure the pot has good drainage to prevent water from accumulating at the bottom and causing root rot.
Fertilizing
Fertilize during the growing season (spring to summer) with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer to promote healthy growth. A general-purpose houseplant fertilizer works well. Avoid fertilizing during the winter months when the plant is in a dormant phase and not actively growing.
