Light:
Prefers bright, indirect sunlight; can tolerate some direct sunlight, but too much can lead to leaf scorch. Finding the right balance of light is essential for healthy growth and vibrant coloration.
Watering:
Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water thoroughly, then let excess water drain away. During the warmer months, water when the top inch of soil is dry. In colder months, reduce watering frequency, as the plant requires less moisture.
Soil:
Use a well-draining cactus or succulent potting mix. You can also create your own mix by combining regular potting soil with sand, perlite, or gravel to enhance drainage and aeration.
Fertilizing:
Feed with a diluted, balanced liquid fertilizer once in the Spring and once in the Summer to promote growth. Avoid fertilizing in the fall and winter when the plant is dormant.
