Light:
Prefers bright, indirect sunlight; can tolerate some shade but avoid low light. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, so keep it in a well-lit spot for optimal growth.
Watering:
Keep soil consistently moist during the growing season; water when the top inch feels dry. Leaves may droop if thirsty. In the fall and winter, reduce watering and allow the soil to dry out well between waterings.
Soil:
Use a well-draining potting mix, such as aroid soil or a mix designed for tropical plants. Adding perlite or orchid bark can improve drainage and aeration.
Fertilizing:
Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer during Spring and Summer to promote vigorous growth. Reduce or stop fertilizing in the fall and winter when the plant is dormant.
Repotting:
Repot every 1-2 years or when the plant becomes root-bound. Select a pot that is 1-2 inches larger in diameter, and refresh the soil to provide essential nutrients.
