    A great beginner option, Opuntia are fantastically easy cacti with a rewarding growth habit. Keep it in bright, direct sunlight and water it thoroughly when the soil is dry throughout. Be sure to allow your Opuntia to rest during winter by watering it only sparingly until Spring.
