Coral Cactus

Euphorbia Lactea Cristata

  • Product Info

Euphorbia Lactea with White and Pink variegation. Low maintenance and easy to grow, this half-cactus half-succulent will give any interior a unique look. Its unusual conjoined shape from the grafting together of two plants produces this striking visual that you don't often see anywhere else. Euphorbia Lactea likes bright light and even direct sunlight, but be careful to not scorch the plant in the depths of Summer. Water sparingly and only when the soil is completely dry.

  • Care guide:

    🌞1. Light
This plant thrives in bright, indirect light and can handle a bit of gentle morning or late afternoon sun. Harsh midday rays should be avoided to prevent scorch on the crested top. Indoors, place it near an east- or south-facing window with filtered light, while outdoors it prefers partial shade.

    💧2. Watering
Watering should follow the “soak and dry” method—give it a thorough drink, then wait until the soil is completely dry before watering again. In spring and summer, this usually means watering every two to three weeks, while in fall and winter it may only need a drink once a month or even less.

    🪴3. Repotting
Repotting is only necessary every two to three years, or when the plant has clearly outgrown its pot. The best time to do this is in spring or early summer, during its active growing phase. Use a gritty cactus or succulent mix, or amend regular potting soil with sand or pumice to improve drainage. Choose a pot just slightly larger than the old one, and always wear gloves when handling, since the plant’s milky sap is toxic and can irritate the skin.
