Anthurium polyschistum is a beautiful and unusual Anthurium with long, narrow, deeply divided leaves that give it a wonderfully fern-like appearance. Instead of the typical broad Anthurium leaf, this one has a more delicate, wild look.

It’s a great choice if you’re after something a little different from the usual Anthuriums. The foliage becomes more impressive as the plant matures, making it a lovely addition to a tropical plant collection.
Care guide:

Light:
Bright, indirect light is best. It can tolerate a little softer light, but avoid strong direct sunlight which can scorch the foliage.

Water:
Keep the soil lightly moist, allowing the top couple of centimetres to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid letting the plant sit in water, as Anthuriums don’t enjoy soggy roots.

Soil:
Use a chunky, airy aroid mix with good drainage. A combination of bark, perlite and a quality houseplant mix works well.
