Ficus elastica 'Shivereana'

  • Product Info

Looking for a Rubber Plant with a little extra personality? Ficus elastica ‘Shivereana’ is known for its striking speckled foliage, with shades of green, cream and soft yellow creating a marbled effect across each leaf. No two leaves look quite the same, which is part of the fun.

Its glossy, oval leaves and upright growth make it a great statement plant for a shelf, plant stand or bright corner of your home. As it grows, it develops into a beautiful leafy feature without needing loads of fuss.

A lovely choice for anyone who likes their houseplants a little unusual but still wants something relatively easy to care for.

  • Care guide:

    Light:
Bright, indirect light is best to keep the variegation looking its best. It can tolerate medium light, but growth may slow and the leaf patterns may become less pronounced. Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

    Water:
Allow the top few centimetres of soil to dry out between waterings, then water thoroughly and let the excess drain away. Avoid leaving the roots sitting in water, as this can lead to root rot.

    Soil:
Use a well-draining houseplant mix with added perlite or fine bark to keep the roots aerated and prevent the compost from becoming waterlogged.

  • Nursery Pot Size:

    9cm
