Crocodile Fern

Microsorum musifolium

  • Product Info

With its unique texture and comparatively easy care requirements, it's not hard to see why Crocodile Ferns are one of our most popular Ferns. Best kept in a humid room like a bathroom or kitchen and watered when the top soil feels dry, it will tolerate low light but will thrive if kept in bright indirect light.

  • Care guide:

    Light:
Crocodile fern thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate moderate shade. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves. A spot with consistent filtered light will promote healthy growth.

    Watering:
Keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Water when the top inch of soil feels slightly dry, ensuring thorough hydration without waterlogging. Reduce watering in colder months but never allow the soil to dry out completely.

    Repotting:
Repot every 2-3 years or when the plant outgrows its pot. Choose a container with good drainage and refresh the soil to maintain its moisture-retaining properties while preventing compaction.

  • Nursery Pot Size:

    12cm
