Calathea ornata boasts delicate pink stripes that look almost hand-painted, but we promise that it's all natural. Calathea don't like direct sun, so they're perfect for filling your empty shaded corner. Feed it once a month in the growing season and let the top soil dry out between watering for best results.
Care guide:

Light:
Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain its striking pink-striped foliage. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can cause the leaves to fade or scorch. Low-light conditions are tolerated but may reduce the vibrancy of the patterns.

Watering:
Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Use distilled or filtered water to avoid leaf damage from minerals and salts in tap water.

Soil:
Thrives in a well-draining potting mix rich in organic matter. A peat-based mix with added perlite or our aroid mix works well for Calatheas.
