🌞 Light
The Blue Star Fern grows best in bright, indirect light. It will tolerate medium or even low light, though growth may be slower. Direct sunlight should be avoided because it can scorch the fronds.

💧 Water
Keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Allow the top inch of soil to dry slightly before watering again. Filtered, distilled, or rainwater is preferred, as hard tap water can cause browning on the fronds. In winter, water less frequently as growth slows.

🪴 Repotting
Repot the plant every two to three years or whenever roots begin to crowd the pot. Choose a container with good drainage and use a light, airy mix such as peat or coco coir blended with perlite and orchid bark to mimic its natural epiphytic environment.

🌡️ Temperature and Drought
The Blue Star Fern dislikes cold drafts, sudden chills, and direct exposure to heating vents. It is not frost tolerant, so keep it away from cold windows in winter. While more forgiving than many other ferns, prolonged drought will stress the plant and may cause fronds to drop.
